This year’s theme, Level Up At Your Library, is all about fun, challenge, and imagination. Whether you're a seasoned reader or just getting started, there’s something for everyone!

📍How to Sign Up:
Stop by the Library anytime during open hours starting Tuesday, May 27 (the day after Memorial Day). You can join anytime during the program, but signing up early gives you more time to collect prizes! (Library Hours: Tues 11am-6pm, Wed 10am-5pm, Thur 11am-6pm, Fri 9am-2pm)

For the whole month of June, we’ll have an Arcade Basketball Tournament. Come back each week to attempt to LEVEL UP your score! All ages are welcome.

Love puzzles? Stop by our Puzzle Swap! Take a puzzle, leave a puzzle — it's that simple. All ages welcome.

Dan Gogh's Color Game Show: Artist-Magician Dan Gogh uses comedy, magic, and art to unlock the mystery of creativity. Life is like a game and the more you know, the more you increase your odds of winning! Dan Gogh’s new show is full of color and excitement with fun challenges along the way.
Magic, puppets, and comedy are a part of the fun, join us on this colorful adventure and let the games begin!
This event is open to the public. You do not need a Deer Creek Library card to attend.

Enjoy stories, activities, games and ice cream! Each family will take home a free book and a deck of cards! This event is best for ages Pre-school to Grade school. Siblings are welcome to attend.

Join us as a community member shares her personal journey as a WWII refugee from Germany, with family stories and historic photos of Russian bombings.

Peoria Park District’s Forest Park Nature Center’s 2025 Traveling Naturalist program called "Reptile Olympics" will teach participants about reptiles and amphibians, including what makes them special, how they move, and where they’re found. This is an interactive program, and participants will learn through puzzles, activities and games! The program will end with an encounter with of Forest Park Nature Center’s animal ambassadors.

Climb aboard the fire engine, handle the hose, and discover more fire-fighting gear.
LEVEL UP your creativity at LEGO Time! Build, play, and imagine with us. Stop by anytime between 3 and 5:30 pm.
Thu, June 26th, 1-3 pm
LEVEL UP your skills with Pikachu Origami! Fold, create, and have fun. Stop by anytime between 1 and 3 pm to make your own Pikachu bookmark.
Fri, June 27th, 10-11 am
This show will even make your hair stand up! You will experience items disappearing in clear liquids with our refraction oil and see the power of a Van De Graaff generator, but no show is complete without foam, LOTS of foam with our fantastic foam experiment where the children are the stars!
