Storytime

1st, 2nd, 3rd Fridays from Jan-May at 10:00 a.m. (March 7, 14, 21)

Have fun and learn with Miss Amy Jo and Miss Sophie. We'll have stories, sign language, singing, and bubbles! Open to ages 0-5. Older siblings are welcome.

*Coffee and Community: Celebrating 60 Years of Connection

2nd Wednesday of every month at 10:30 a.m. (starting March 12th)

Join us on the second Wednesday of every month at 10:30 AM, starting March 12th, as we host "Coffee and Community" in celebration of the library's 60th anniversary! Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea while socializing with fellow community members. This ongoing event is designed to foster connections and friendships in a welcoming environment. We look forward to seeing you there!

Homeschool Meetup

3rd Tuesday of every month at 10:30 a.m. (March 18)

Come by to meet other homeschoolers in the area! Network, share resources, and support one another in all things homeschooling. All ages are welcome. 

Creating a Sensory Garden
Thursday, March 20 from 1:30-2:30
In this workshop, you’ll discover how to choose and incorporate plants that engage all of your senses, creating a more vibrant and therapeutic garden space. Leave with practical ideas to bring sensory experiences into your garden, enhancing your well-being and fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

*60th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt
March 17 - 28
Children can participate in a scavenger hunt during the library's open hours. Completed scavenger hunt checklists will be entered into a grand prize drawing.

*Storytime with Miss Arla
Wednesday, March 26 at 10:30am
Join us for a special storytime as Miss Arla shares a heartwarming tale about friends visiting the library during our anniversary celebration!

Zumbini

Every 4th Friday from Jan-May at 10:30 a.m. (March 28)

Zumbini is an early childhood development program focused on music & movement for children ages 0 to 5 years, to attend with their music-loving (Zumba loving!) caregiver(s). Older siblings are welcome. Caregivers must remain present.

*Deer Creek Library's 60th Anniversary

Saturday, March 29 from 1-3pm

Mark your calendars to celebrate Deer Creek District Library's 60th Anniversary! Come connect with community members as they reminisce about the past and explore current library resources. Enjoy a basket raffle fundraiser, games, activities, refreshments, and more!
